OSD is down after hotplug

In my setup i remove one osd (osd is having cache), and wait for few minutes for the osd to go out.
Then the re balancing occurred and ceph health become OK.
Then in plug back my osd again to the cluster. But the osds are down.
Do i need to do anything manually to get the osd up.
