Hi,

Does PetaSAN is based on CEPH?

Yes PetaSAN is Ceph + additional layers like gateways for different protocol services and Consul platform for service scale-out and HA.

You can refer to the Ceph documentation, it is not something we use. It is also possible it is no longer maintained.
